As I reflect on Hannah and Paul’s celebration at Martinstown House, the phrase ‘effortless charm’ captures their day. Their vision of an easygoing, fun and relaxed day didn’t mean compromising on the details that really mattered to them. With rustic oranges and summery lilac, handmade ring boxes and home grown flower confetti, Hannah and Paul thought outside the box and brought their bohemian vision to life.
Behind The Lens: Capturing Intimacy in the Secret Garden
Hannah and Paul opted to do a first look, something I personally love. Before the ceremony they snuck away to Martinstown House’s secret garden. There, enveloped in anticipation and privacy, got to spend 20 minutes together calming the nerves and enjoying a private moment before all the fun and chaos of the day began. This also allowed us to get their couples photos done nice an early. This intimate prelude allowed us to capture the moment in early photos, honouring their wish to fully immerse themselves with their guests later on, making memories and enjoying the day they’d planned.
Traditions with a Twist
They didn’t let tradition stand in the way, making sure to enjoy the unforgettable moments with the people they love the most in precisely the way they wanted — from spirited rounds of corn-hole that sparked friendly rivalry to sharing heartfelt toasts and tequila shots with their families. Hannah and Paul definitly made the most of their day.
